In this role, you will help drive store performance, build strong relationships in your community, and ensure every neighbor receives knowledgeable, trustworthy, pet-centric service — all while smiling in the face of puppy breath.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead by example by delivering exceptional, neighborly service to every customer and their pets
  • Support daily store operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Partner with the Store Team Leader to analyze sales and implement strategies to improve performance and engagement
  • Create a fun, positive environment for both team members and neighbors
  • Assist in maintaining store standards including cleanliness, animal care, safety, and security
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and staffing to maintain a strong team
  • Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback and support
  • Promote team engagement by recognizing performance and supporting career growth
  • Build relationships within the community, including partnerships with local organizations and events

Requirements and Responsibilities
  • 2+ years of experience leading a retail team
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required (high school diploma or GED required)
  • Strong communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate store equipment, including forklifts
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and maintain reliable transportation
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a drug test

Compensation: $27,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
